:::: Cookery Packages from Kerala Village Home stay
Kerala cookery classes: Our guests can stay with us and learn the traditional Kerala cooking. However since we have only 4 rooms at our home stay, and in case if they are all filled up, then we arrange rooms at a nearby hotel for those who wish to attend our popular cooking class.
So there would be Resident guests (who stay at our home and learn cooking) and Non-Resident guests (who stay at hotels nearby to our home and learn cooking at our home) Our cooking packages are very popular with our guests.

4 days/3 nights (Resident Guests) Cooking class Package This package will be for those who stay at our home and learn Kerala style cooking. This package is offerable for a single person as well as a group of minimum of 2-persons and a maximum of 3 persons in each group. First day: Arrival, Welcome Drink, Getting Freshened Up, Talk with the Host Family, Cooking Basics and Demonstrations, Lunch, Dinner Cooking Session, Dinner. Second day: Breakfast, Relaxation, Afternoon Cooking Session, Lunch. Dinner Cooking Session. Dinner. Third day: Breakfast, Relaxing time, Lunch, Afternoon cooking session, Visit to the market, Dinner Cooking Session. Dinner. Fourth day: Breakfast and a warm Good-bye by the Host. The rate for this cookery class are as follows: Rs. 21000/- for one person in a double bedroom. (We do not have single-rooms) Rs. 29000/- for two persons, in a double room. Rs. 40000/- for three persons in a double room with an extra bed.
The price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner of all 3 days, accommodation for 3 nights, all transportation and entry costs of the 3 day package. The pick up and drop from the Cochin airport, or any nearby destinations on arrival or departure would be provided at the relevant charges on request. The above rates are valid for a period of one year from 1st June 2007-31st May 2008.

This package will be for those who stay at a nearby hotel, if our home stay rooms are filled and learn cooking at our homestay. This package is offerable for a single person as well as for unlimited amount of group members.
First day:
Arrival, welcome drink, getting freshened up, talk with the host and family, Cooking basics and demonstrations, Lunch. Dinner Cooking Session. Dinner.
Second day:
Breakfast, relaxation, afternoon cooking session, Lunch. Dinner cooking session. Dinner.
Third day:
Breakfast, Relaxing time, Lunch, Afternoon cooking session, visit to the market, Dinner Cooking Session. Dinner.
Fourth day:
Breakfast and a warm good-bye by the host.

The rate for this cookery class depends on the hotel room that you require. Once you inform us the type of rooms required: AC/Non-AC, Deluxe rooms, Luxury rooms, we shall inform you the total cost of the package. Under this package you can come daily to our home stay and learn cooking and also enjoy the other benefits of our home stay.
Our total package rates would other than the room rent includes breakfast, lunch and dinner of all 3 days, accommodation for 3 nights under this package. 8 days/7 nights (Resident Guests) Cooking class Package
This package is offerable for those who stay at our home. This package is applicable for a single person as well as a group of minimum 2-persons and a maximum of 3 persons in each group.
First day:
Arrival, welcome drink, getting freshened up, talk with the host and family, lunch, An introductory discussion about the cooking class, relaxation, dinner.
Second day:
After breakfast learn about the spices used. Cooking session. Lunch. After lunch, relaxation. Cooking session in the evening. Dinner.
Third day:
Breakfast. After breakfast, there will be a cooking session before lunch. Lunch. After lunch, visit to the market to see and purchase the vegetables and fruits, etc. Dinner.
Fourth day:
Breakfast. After breakfast, cooking session before lunch. Lunch. After lunch, visit to Cherai beach, where you can spend time on the beach and relax yourself. If there is time, you can also visit the nearby Chengamangalam which has the Black Jewish Synagogue. Dinner
Fifth day:
Breakfast. After breakfast, cooking session before lunch. Lunch. After lunch, relaxation. Dinner session in the evening. Dinner.
Sixth day:
Breakfast. A trip to Fort Cochin and Mattancherry during the whole day. A dance programme of Kathakali at night. During this day, since you will be outside, you can pay for lunch and dinner on your own. You can choose lunch and dinner according to your interest and there will be a person to guide you in this. This days lunch and dinner are not included in the package.
Seventh day:
Breakfast. Review session where everyone will analyse the progress that they made and can ask questions about the various recipes and further doubts. In the afternoon, there will be cooking class and in the evening there will be dinner class. Dinner.
Eighth day:
Breakfast and a warm good-bye by the host.
The rates for this cookery package are as follows:
Rs. 41000/- for one person with a double AC room. We do not have single rooms.
Rs. 58000/- for two persons sharing an AC double room.
Rs. 80000/- for three persons sharing a AC double room with an extra bed.
The price includes breakfast on all days, lunch and dinner of all days, except the sixth day, accommodation for 7 nights, all transportation and entry costs of the 8 day package.
